Tribute to Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys

I was saddened to hear of the death of Brian Wilson yesterday. I've always loved The Beach Boys, and I think Pet Sounds is a wonder. I wrote this poem back in 2017, imagining I was there in California, walking through the corridors and studio of Capitol Records, where much of Pet sounds was recorded. I love every track on that album, but particularly 'I Just Wasn't Made for These Times' which is a blend of melancholy and joy, that only a genius like Wilson could have imagined, and only The Beach Boys could have sung.
