Andrew is passionate about passing on everything he has learned as a poet and editor, working with new writers, and inspiring the next generation, which is why in 2024 he decided to launch The Poet’s Workshop. 

 

This encompasses a range of writing services offered by Andrew in order to help you become a better writer, and find ways of supporting and encouraging you to develop your craft, as well as giving you the opportunity to meet other writers and be part of a literary community. 

 

Andrew has over a decade of teaching experience, ranging from working with school students, university students to adult learners, so has acquired the skills, ability and compassion to work with anyone. See his testimonials to hear what others have to say. 

 

Moreover, unlike many writers, Andrew doesn’t work with an agent, so you can get in touch with him directly (info@andrewjamison.co.uk), and there’s no hidden, added agency commission or fees in his pricing. 

This workshop exceeded my expectations as there was much more discussion facilitated than I expected, the prompts given by the facilitator were quite thought-provoking and took me outside my comfort zone, and the atmosphere was welcoming and casual.
