Seeking an informal, welcoming, online discussion where you can discuss a wide range of books from the comfort of your own home? Welcome to The Poet's Workshop Book Club! - Join an informal, relaxed, 1-hour online discussion on a classic or contemporary poetry book - Source your own copy - whether you prefer to read hardback, paperback, tablet, e-reader, or even audiobook - you decide - Bring your own drinks and snacks and enjoy the discussion from the comfort of your own home - Participate in an exclusive forum on the website to share your thoughts before and after the session - Reconnect with a regular reading habit and be part of a welcoming community - £10 introductory rate per person per session - Limited to 15 people on a first-come/first-served basis - Ages 18+ only What to expect: - 1 hour of informal, fun, engaging group discussion online - 5-10 minutes (max) of Andrew giving a talk about the book at the start and laying out its context - Lots of general discussion on the book facilitated and guided by Andrew - One poem to be the subject of close analysis by the group - Have your say, give your judgement, and cast your vote at the end of the session on the quality of the book In this session we'll discuss Diane Seuss's latest collection 'Modern Poetry' published by Fitzcarraldo Editions in February 2025.
