The Poet’s Workshop Poetry Prize 2025 is a new poetry competition and is open to anyone over the age of 18 across the world. Whether you’re new to poetry or have publications to your name, you can enter online by following this link and then emailing your poems to info@andrewjamison.co.uk.

This year’s judge will be me, Andrew Jamison, the founder of The Poet’s Workshop. Having published three poetry collections with The Gallery Press, I started running workshops, readings and events this year, and, in a bid to offer more poets opportunities to have their work read and published, this poetry competition is the most exciting of these endeavours yet. I love reading work from new writers and I'm excited to unearth some excellent poems from your submissions.

NEW: Thanks to a generous donation I'm delighted to announce six writers on low-income may enter for free (no questions asked). These entries are offered on a first/first served basis. If this applies to you click here to enter.

Before you enter, though, please read the rules and submission guidelines below carefully.

Thanks for entering and good luck!

Andrew
