Service Description

Join Andrew on this six week course where you’ll cover the rudiments of the craft of writing poetry, covering topics such as the poetic line, the difference between form and structure, blank verse, free verse, rhyme, and discuss approaches to writing, and be introduced to some of the most inspirational, well-written poems and how they work. You’ll come away with an understanding of the nuts and bolts of poetry, and how to put them together in your own unique way. Every session will begin with an instructional/theoretical element, followed by a generative task, culminating in a workshop where each participant gets to share their work.
